The airfield Straubing-Wallmühle is the home of the Tailwheel Academy. Founded in the 1960s by people from the city of Straubing who were enthusiastic about flying, today it is THE aeronautical location in Eastern Bavaria and one of the most well-equipped landing sites in Bavaria.
